We currently own and operate 5 successful establishments: Calypso Bar and Grill, Repeal Bourbon and Burgers, 3 Hair of the Dog Eatery’s (Downtown  Granby, Hampton  BLVD across from ODU and Loehmann’s Plaza in Virginia Beach)
 
Our company is seeking a restaurant busser to maintain a clean and pleasant dining experience.  A successful busser provides support to their team members by managing restaurant supplies, ensuring all tables, kitchen supplies, and restaurant areas are kept sanitized and clean free of debris. As a busser, they will also assist with serving food, pre-bussing of completed meals and empty cups, and follow all restaurant standard procedures and policies.
 
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to lift, bend, and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Flexible schedule for weekends, holidays, and long hours
Job Duties
  • Ensuring all tables are cleared, cleaned, and sanitized
  • Assisting with cleaning and processing of dirty dishes and silverware
  • Positive and welcoming attitude to patrons and team members
  • Managing inventory of napkins, silverware, and other table supplies
  • Performing opening and closing side work duties
  • Maintain restaurant safety and sanitation
  • Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Assist with other restaurant duties as needed
